An Ombre Lip

Hello World! Coming at 'cha with another makeup look today. I wanted to try something different with my makeup, while still keeping it in the "everyday-wear" realm. I drew a normal winged eye and added a "tail" of sorts underneath it to emphasize my lashes. It reminds me a bit of how Twiggy would draw on her bottom lashes with liner, but of course this is less dramatic. Keeping with the "vintage" theme, I threw in a soft cut-crease. It's not as defined, again because I wanted to keep this everyday-friendly!

For the lips I went for an ombre, the combination of liner and lipstick resembling a brick-red wall. I wanted to tie this color in throughout the look so I swept a brick-red-brown eyeshadow from MAC on the outer corners of my eyes. It adds to the winged eye look, and brings the red-brown hue to the eye, without it looking too bright or costumey. The best part for me; the red undertone of the eyeshadow brings out my green eyes. Who wouldn't love that?
