Food Diary | The Girl & Her Coffee

Hello World! I've been wanting to try my hand at a "What I Ate" type of post ever since I watched my first What I Ate Wednesday by Anna Saccone. A year and a blog later and finally, I have my first "Food Diary". I filmed this, however my life is sort of a mess right now (and I didn't want you to see it!) so I thought I'd stick to just photos for this time around. I did have some fun, as one of my side hobbies is food photography. LOL.
 Before I do anything (aside from breathe) I sling back a coffee. I brew Harmony Bay Hazelnut Creme coffee and add a creamer. This particular morning I chose Almond Joy by International Delight.
For breakfast I had a bowl of fruit with two tablespoons of vanilla yogurt. I chose black seedless grapes and strawberries for the fruit, and Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla Yogurt. I also accompanied this with a chilly glass of water.
I was out and about on this day so I of course hit up Starbucks for an Iced Caramel Macchiato. 
When I got home I had my lunch which was some leftovers from the night before. And I KNOW, it looks so cray, but allow me to explain. This is a macrobiotic base of mushrooms, onions and corn made into a stew. I added beef because Spencer likes meat in his meals. I had this with a potato bread!
Dinner was SO NOM. My original plan (when I started cooking this) was to make a Japanese udon soup, but this evolved into something much more delicious! I really love asian foods and this dish is a combination of several authentic asian recipes squished into one. 

Hope you enjoyed taking a peek into my meals for the day. I love reading/watching these kind of posts because it gives me loads of kitchen-inspiration! Let me know if you do these types of posts because I'd love to check them out. Also, what do we think about a "Food Diary" film next time around? I'm thinking yes, but if this was absolutely painful... Tell a GURL, and I'll be like "COOL no more food!".... I'm weird.
