Today again I added new members to my makeup family. And of course you guys have to meet these babies!
First up is my newest foundation, the L'Oreal True Match from their "cool" color collection. I've been looking for the perfect "ivory" because my current foundation (as lovely as it is) tends to show too warm for my liking after it oxidizes. This is in the shade C2 "natural ivory". From the looks of it I feel like I've come close to the best shade for my (baby butt white) skin!
I also picked up this Maybelline FITme Stick. I'm not sure what the company's intended use is as they do not have it clearly marketed (at least to me!!). It's in the shade 110, which is their lightest shade and I'm assuming it is a foundation stick. However, I plan to try this as a concealer. It claims to be shine-free and from the swatches I see that is truely the case. Check out my post on
Concealers for Snow White, where I talk about my trials and troubles with finding perfect concealers for very fair skin.
The top swatch is from the True Match foundation and the bottom is the FITme Stick foundation.
I'm a huge fan of multi-dimensional lip color, and found a lovely dark-red lip liner that I feel would go great with my British Kiss lipstick I mentioned in my last
New In post.
The heart is a swatch of the lip liner, which is by Rimmel in the shade 071, "Cherry Kiss".
Lastly I grabbed an eyebrow pencil. I've been meaning to purchase the Anastasia Brow Wizz. But until then, I thought I could try this Rimmel brow pencil. I have to say I'm "pleased as punch" with it.
The pencil is in shade 002, "Hazel". It is the perfect combination of light brown and warm tones to blend the brown of my natural brow hair color with my copper hair! So glad I bought this!
Thanks for checking out the post! Now off to listen to more Lana baby.....
Much Love,
